We’re building the operating system for agentic commerce: the layer that turns a user’s intent to buy into a completed order on any merchant site. We enable a true universal cart and one-click checkout anywhere on the Internet — so users can add items from multiple merchants in one place and buy seamlessly, without bouncing through different tabs, logins, and carts. About the role

As Software Engineer (New Grad) at Henry Labs, you’ll build the core systems that power our AI agent platform end-to-end. You’ll own critical developer-focused APIs + frontend surfaces from conception to production, working with bleeding edge tech that needs to be both reliable and low latency. You’ll also play a foundational role in how we build Henry Labs’s culture.

  • Design, develop, and scale our product suite of developer tools, SDKs, APIs, frontend interfaces
  • Ship quickly and iterate on our product based on user feedback
  • Build reliable, scalable backend systems that handle payment and checkout complexity
  • Shape Henry Labs’s hiring decisions and culture as we grow

What we’re looking for

  • Current or recent graduate (<2 years of work experience) in computer science
  • Experience with TypeScript, React, Supabase/Postgres, and API/SDK design
  • Interest or experience in browser automation, Playwright, or similar tooling
  • Interest or experience in fintech, payments, e-commerce, or developer tools
  • Technical excellence: as a developer tool, our technical decisions are the product, and the details matter a lot.
  • Low ego, high impact: you care more about building something meaningful than who gets credit
  • Start-up ready: early stage sometimes means figuring it out as we go, and that energizes rather than drains you
  • Excited to crush it: we’re moving fast and looking for people excited about high velocity, high impact work, and having fun along the way.
